It’s not necessary to convert, but you need to be aware that the thresholds change. E.g. in US units the “super healthy” is below 1, but in international units is below 0.8 or so.

When calculating Triglyceride/HDL ratio in mmol/L, is it necessary, (and if so, why?), that the trig and HDL results are converted to mg/dl first? I’m seeing 2 different types of calculators online, one is simple division in mmol/L but most require converting to mg/dl first which gives a different ratio. Thanks.

I have an Osteopathic Med student with me this month and we were discussing the Zoom call and Apo A1 Milano came up. She is going to do a brief report with references at the end of the month. She will let me share a deidentified version with you guys and you can share with the group.

I‘m interested in the link between nervous system and metabolism/metabolic health.
I think, even if you can ketosis, if you are in a constant dominant sympathicus mode, you will gain weight. And the opposite, if you are a monk meditating all day long, but you run on sugar, you won’t be healthy.
Do you have any data or knowledge to interlink the two topics?
Thanks and best regards from Switzerland (20 mins from Bergün – where we surely will meet next year)
Paula
