This is a question we can address in today’s session as well!

We can have a general discussion/explanation on ‘alternative’ sugars. I’m a user myself and prefer these over most artificial sweeteners.

I’m always in awe of Bella’s knowledge. Heather

Allulose is illegal in the UK. It comes under novel foods legislation. Its has some useful cooking properties – it browns unlike other substitutes.

Wondering if you or Gabor might comment on the role and contribution of saturated fat to fatty liver, while on a long-established low carb ( not ketogenic) clean/non-processed diet? Or how to deal with it ? I’m always working during the live sessions but it’s great to catch the replays. Thanks. Christine

Thanks for another fascinating session. We’re generally busy on a Thursday evening but we always like to catch up later. Look forward to any further insights you might on this study. The subjects seem to be paragons of ketogenic living. How on earth were they persuaded to eat carbs for 30 days?!

When you next have a general session could you please consider discussing Allulose. Rachel has just watched a discussion with Ben Bikman on David Perlmutter’s channel about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zf2XrIteKMw&ab_channel=DavidPerlmutterMD
We’re sceptical of using sweeteners on a low carb diet but Bikman suggests that Allulose is different. It doesn’t seem to have caught on yet in the UK. (Interestingly Amazon UK doesn’t stock it yet but Ebay does.)

Also, is there more to the programm than the “members” area?
