I probably meant that. However, there’s no need to include the large intestine, L-cell distribution is already uneven in the small intestines. Eventually, an imbalanced signaling profile can develop even if the food is totally absorbed.

References will be released for all sessions soon. We’re undecided about the slide sets yet. There may be an online course available based on (the extension of) some of these presentations, and then it’s not very wise to release them prematurely.

I’m stuck a bit with the reference lists, but we will release this for all sessions/presentations. Sorry for the delay.

Why are we looking for ‘hacks’, making starches indigestible? Just so we can have bigger portions?

Trying to find sweet things that bypass the bodies natural processes.

Why not just eat natural Whole Foods in reasonable quantities and stop snacking.

Try to eat within an eight hour window, finish two hours before bedtime and try to do some extended fasting once or twice a year.

And keep the sweet luxury food for high days and holidays as we used to?

It requires discipline but likely worth it.

Most religions have written these instructions for life I bet there’s something in there.

My mother, now 90 suffered with severe constipation most of her life. Doctors recommendations, particularly in the 1970s eat all bran every day, no help.

I now cook for her, her appetite is smaller and therefore I prioritise for her animal foods. In other words, I have taken vegetables out of her diet as they make her feel too full too quickly and they add very little nutrition in my opinion.

Taking all the dietary fibre out of her diet, she commented to me recently she doesn’t have constipation anymore.

If I cook potato gives twice as much glucose as a raw one, you only need half the potatoes to feed a population.

A smaller amount of food can give you enough energy for now and give you some fat storage for later .

The same with cook meat, even though it seems not to disrupt hormones. You get more amino acids for repair and building of the body from a smaller amount of the animal food as you can see more people.

Our problem is almost unlimited abundance.

Do you mean it’s so processed and ground up that it mostly absorbs before it reaches the L cells?

Where do liquid foods fit in? here I mean naturally liquid dairy.

A very insightful presentation, always learn something new. The quality of the research is top notch. A PDF, as suggested by above, would be great or a list of the references please. Would love to follow up and read more fully. In health, Heather
