Not specific to this Q&A but certainly within the scope of what Metabolic Duo is about.
I’ve been researching on Finasteride which I’ve been taking for 15years ( it’s an 5a-Rs inhibitor) commonly prescribed to help shrink an enlarged prostrate and/or promote hair growth.
I found this recent research article on long term effects of taking the drug and according to this research it has negative effects on NAFLD, IR,Liver function, Lipids, Pancreas beta cell function and T2D. Many of the test subjects started showing these effects after using the drug. I’ve been shopping for a procedure for myself to get off of this drug and wondered how it might be effecting my blood panels negatively and I’m sure it could be also effecting millions creating metabolic problems their doctors would probably never be wise to.
